1989 Porsche 930

Michael’s car of the month is this unrestored, factory-correct 1989 Porsche 930. It is a turbocharged version of the 911 that rightfully earned its spot as an iconic Porsche sports car. In its day, it was a true super sports car with a powerful trigger-happy engine and a G50 5-speed transmission. The brakes came from the Le Mans-winning 917 race cars. It sported a body shape that was the envy of the automotive world.

This car was meant for serious business and was a handful to drive for all but the best drivers. People that have owned one, dreamed of ownership, or those that have spent a lifetime working on these cars revere them. Porsche once again provided the world with a real, road-ready race car. Thank you, Porsche!
